Fix It Friday - I Heart Faces

This weeks photo was taken by Dana Suggs.

Vintage Colour

Edit Details

First I flipped the photo, then I increased the colour saturation by 15 and cropped it slightly. Next I ran the CoffeeShop Perfect Portraits 2 action. Using the layers within the action I smoothed out the skin and adjusted the contrast. Then flattened the file. Next I applied the CoffeeShop Simply Vintage action but deleted the "soft haze" layer. Lastly I cropped the corners to really emphasize the vintage feel.

Edit Details

This edit was rather simple. After cropping the shot and adjusting the saturation I ran the CoffeeShop Perfect Portraits 2 action. Using the layers within the action, I smoothed out the skin, adjusted the contrast and defined the eyes. I also added the optional vignette.

After creating the second edit, I simple turned on the B & W conversion layer of the CoffeeShop action the flattened and flipped it.

Fix It Friday - I Heart Faces

This weeks Fix It Friday picture was taken by the very talented Angie Arthur.

I apologise for not having the editing steps available, I've been interrupted several times during the process and have completely forgotten exactly what I did. I must remember to write them down next week.

fix it friday i@faces

This is my first go at joining Fix It Friday over at I Heart Faces. It was lots of fun even if I am a little late to the linky party. I use Photoshop Elements 6 for photo editing.

Here is the original shot. This gorgeous shot was captured by Rachel Durik.

Gorgeous girl isn't she?

Black & White

I cropped the image first, to focus on the models pretty face.
I used the Baby Powder Room and Splendor B&W PSE actions from CoffeeShop
Both actions were highly customised to suit the image.

Colour

I cropped this one a little wider than the first.
Then I used the Baby Powder Room PSE action by CoffeeShop
Followed by the Lovely and Edge Burn PSE actions by Pioneer Woman.

This was lots of fun, I'm looking forward to getting involved again :)
