shadow shot sunday

The Spirit II

The Spirit of Tasmania I and II are the boats that crosses Bass Strait from Melbourne to Devonport. I snapped this shot last night around 8:30pm as the boat was leaving Devonport. The shadows cast on the ship are from the trees that line the foreshore at the mouth of the Mersey River.

Today I'm linking up with Hey Harriet for Shadow Shot Sunday.

Very cool ShadowShot! Now this is a different Mercey River than the one in the song "Ferry Cross the Mercey" right? Happy SSS to you!!

Yes, taking advantage of what light you had left you captured the moment and shadows and even the temperature. Lovely shot!
